Interesting Poll Statistic:

4 out of 5 Americans supported the use of full-body scans. That still leaves 60,000,000 Americans who object to them. Thats more people than actually vote for anything in this country.

Kick-Ass Review

Great review for the movie "Kick-Ass"

Make sure to watch the trailer at the bottom

Lowdown on happenings

I've been spending quite a lot of time the last week or two trawling the "internets" for a new place to live. Apartments are not easy to find this year. Good news though is that some recent developments mean I have a wider pool of possible new homes to choose from.

Also been watching Season 2 of Dexter. Good show :-)

2 nights ago I went and saw "Kick-Ass" that the theatre. I happened to see the trailer to the movie AFTER watching it. Have to say that who'ever produced the trailer really got it wrong. Kick-ass is NOT for kids but they make it look like a kids movie. I really enjoyed it though even if its slightly odd to watch little girls kill people with knives!

BSG

I've been re-watching BSG again. Just finished season 2 and am looking forward to starting up season 3. I forgot how great an experience it was watching the show for the 1st time. For those of you who have never seen it I highly recommend it. For those of you who refuse to watch it you are missing out big time.
Good news is my Knee doesn't have anything seriously wrong with it. The Bad news is that any "cure" would be worse than the symptoms.

Knee

Getting my knee looked at today by a orthopedic surgeon. Not sure what is wrong with it, and the cure might be worse than the symptoms, but I'm going as I think its better to be looked at and nothing wrong rather than ignoring it and finding out my knee is going to explode one day.

Thoughts before 7AM

It's nice out today and I wish I didn't have to go to work. Thinking about a day off and how much it would help my mental health. Not sure when I'll get around to it though. This week it tough as I have 2 chiropractor visits, dental cleaning, and getting my knee looked at by a orthopedic surgeon. One of these days I need to schedule an eye appointment as well.

What to do with a day off is the next question. I want to go to LA for a long weekend, but money being what it is makes that slightly challenging. I have some plans for this summer that I need to save for($1200 for a ticket to England in August is making me nervous as it should cost a fraction of that).

Got in the mail yesterday a copy of "The Lost" the newest "Gaunt's Ghosts" omnibus. This tome is a monster for sure capping out at 1016 pages. I can't wait to start to read it.

April 1st

I look outside and see the sun for the first time this week. At least it isn't raining.
